When is an addendum or an amendment required?

INTERNAL USE ONLY

  • An addendum is required when a Service needs to be added to an existing SOW vs. creating a new separate SOW.
  • An amendment is required when a client is requesting something to be removed from a previously executed SOW. Many amendment requests may not be needed as most of Richardson’s Services (exception of committed licensing) is not committed and invoiced on actuals.
  • If an addendum or amendment is executed it is saved in the appropriate contract folder for the Client and noted as an Amendment to SOW #_P# and saved in Phoenix Order with the link to the Amendment or Addendum within that same order under “Notes and Contracts Details”
  • If adjustments are required based on the terms added or amended, contracts will modify the Phoenix Order.
