FAQ: What do I do if there is not enough licenses or workshops remaining to fulfill against?
NetSuite does not allow negative balances within Items. In the event your balance is not sufficient based on what you need to track, please do the following:
- Update the customer in advance to notify them that they will be invoiced for the overages at the rates prescribed in the SOW.
- Go to the SO and go to Communication tab to request additional Items to be added. Submit the email to [email protected] that you need an increase and outline the Item Name and number you need.
- Contracts will create a new Item within the SO for you to fulfill against as you will need to draw down the balance off the original Item first and then track the balance against the new Item.
- Connect with the CSM, AD, RVP and they can work with the customer to see if there is a need for a new SO and contract to support ongoing licenses and needs.
