Issue:

• Current state is that when a course is cloned, the ELO Rank for each question and category is cloned with it.
• ELO Rankings for questions and category fluctuate by course based on the number of learners who got the answer correct/incorrect
• The last learner to go through the course may be scored differently than those that preceded them.
• ELO Ranks of questions and categories affect a learners Skill Sliders, Leaderboard Rank, Difficulty Level of a Question, and other reporting factors.
• ELO Ranks do not sync between Accelerate WebApp and Boost Dashboard which creates a discrepancy between the Strengths and Weaknesses in the applications

Change:

• On April 16th, we will be doing a "Freeze" to all questions and categories.
• This will lock the scoring for each question and category, so that each user will be scored the same regardless of time
• ELO Rank will be updated once a year to adjust for changes in difficulty level

What To Know:

• On April 16th, learners may experience a shift in their Skill Sliders
• After March 27th, all questions will be scored the same for all learners
• Skill Sliders and Leaderboards may experience a one time change on March 27th for all clients and courses.
• How a user did relative to others in their course will not change.
